The Republic of the Congo held a presidential election on 15 March 2026.
Incumbent President Denis Sassou Nguesso of the Congolese Labour Party won the election.
The country has a population of around 6.6 million and 3 million registered voters. In the 2026 election, voter turnout was 85%.
