The CDSB is a consortium of businesses and environmental NGOs working together to integrate environmental reporting into mainstream corporate reporting.

This report sets forth various guiding principles and reporting requirements in relation to environmental information.

Environmental information includes information about the reporting organisation’s:

  • Natural capital dependencies.
  • Environmental results.
  • Environmental risks and opportunities.
  • Environmental policies, strategies and targets.
  • Performance against environmental targets.

It is a voluntary GHG emissions reporting programme, which is available to corporates on a subscription-only basis. The Climate Registry also publishes reporting protocols as guidance to support the Carbon Footprint Registry.
